The Junior College in Singapore is more different from Senior High School in China than I expected, though both Singaporean JC students and Chinese High school students are about the same age of 16-18. The daily schedule of JC students is more flexible, unlike Chinese students siting in one specific classroom, filled up with classes one by one, from dawn to dusk every day. I think compared to Chinese high school, JC system interacts more with universities.
Anyway, I felt like coming back to the old days in Senior high school seeing so many young peers around us. In school uniforms, and presented on flag rising ceremony, my new life experience started on a normal but extraordinary day.
I’d like to give all my most sincere thanks to Mr Principal, our kind leading teacher Ms Tan ,my enthusiastic buddy Yan Ming and all friends who gave us support and welcome for the day. on the following days, I hope to make more friends and have an unforgettable time with everyone!
PS: One funny thing I want to mention: My cute buddy Yan Ming translated the word 'buddy' into Chinese as ‘对象’( it means 'spouse') lol! We burst out laughing, he is so funny.
